Active Start is an 8 week program for children ages 3.5-7 years old designed to teach the fundamental movement and sports skills needed to enjoy an active lifestyle. Based on the Long Term Athletic Development Model developed by Canadian Sport for Life, this program will target skills including running, jumping, catching, throwing, kicking, striking, balancing and body awareness. Support is provided to each child through staff and volunteers to ensure success.
