Supporting Individuals, Families, Allies & Professionals Across Canada
AIDE Canada supports autistic, neurodivergent, and intellectually disabled individuals, along with the families, caregivers, allies, professionals, and organizations connected to these communities across Canada. The Community section helps foster understanding, inclusion, collaboration, and connection by sharing perspectives and information relevant to different experiences and roles.
For autistic, neurodivergent, and/or people with intellectual disabilities, AIDE Canada helps amplify lived experience, self-advocacy, and community connection while supporting topics related to education, employment, healthcare, relationships, and daily life.
Families, caregivers, supporters, and allies are an important part of the community as well, helping encourage understanding, accessibility, and inclusion in homes, schools, workplaces, and communities nationwide.
Professionals and service providers, including educators, clinicians, healthcare workers, researchers and support organizations also play a key role. AIDE Canada encourages collaboration and shared knowledge to help strengthen supports and improve accessibility across Canada.
