The Caregivers Role in providing sexuality education to their child/family member.

Research shows that caregivers play a crucial role in the sexuality education of their child/family member and knowing that Autistic people are often not able to access sexuality education, caregivers are often the only source of sexuality education and information that Autistic people receive. Autism Nova Scotia has developed a set of resources to support caregivers in building their knowledge and abilities to provide sexuality education to their child/family member. This webinar will go over the basics of guidelines for comprehensive sexuality education and ways for caregivers to build knowledge and comfort with conversations about sexuality.
