Autism Awareness Training for Early Childhood Educators: Supporting Children in a Day Program

Early Childhood Educators (ECE) are important members of a child's team. ECE support a child as they learn and interact socially with their peers. In this course developed for ECEs by experts in the field, we provide information on autism and other developmental disabilities. We also share the stories of three children who may be on the autism spectrum and descriptions of what you may observe throughout the day. We also provide tips and strategies for sharing your concerns with parents in a way that makes them feel supported.
