Canada is working towards creating a National Autism Strategy to improve supports for individuals and their families in the autism community. Sometimes, autistic people who also have an intellectual disability are left behind when policy conversations happen. In this video, we interview Tyriq and his mother to find out more about their journey and what they need in the future to help Tyriq live his best life moving forward.
