Building Resilience, Self-Esteem and Confidence to Support Well-Being

AIDE Canada

Topics In This Article

This webinar will teach caregivers and support persons how to build resilience, self-esteem and well-being and why these things are central to a person’s good mental health. We’ll explore the components that create the scaffolding around an autistic person in order for them to feel well within themselves – predictability, structure, physical activity, pursuit of interests, creating motivation, reducing anxiety, and building confidence. It is this scaffolding that allows a person to thrive, not just survive.
