Easter Seals NL Inclusive Park @ Easter Seals NL

The initial phase of park is already open and once fully constructed, the Easter Seals NL park will be the biggest inclusive and accessible park East of Toronto! Phases I and II include an accessible playground and a pavilion with a fire pit, a BBQ event plaza with a seating area, and sensory gardens all per the Canadian Standard Association’s Accessible Design for the Built Environment. Phase III will include constructing an outdoor rink/hardcourt surface area with team benches, transparent glass, ice-level doors, and an accessible viewing area with bleachers. It will also include a 2600-square-foot outbuilding used to store recreational and adaptive equipment for our Equipment Loan Program and Linda’s Equipment Crossing, which is free province-wide.
