Family support @ Autism Calgary

Family support teams assist families (primarily parents) with navigating the complex system of supports regarding autism. By providing information, referrals, and advocacy tips, they ensure families have access to the resources they need. A new initiative is the “Supports for Aging Caregivers Project”, providing resources for parents approaching their senior years who worry about who will care for their child with ASD when they cannot.
