Supporting Neurodivergent Colleagues in Law Enforcement Environments
For the International Day for Persons with Disabilities, the Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) asked AIDE Canada to provide the keynote address about best practices for supporting neurodivergent colleagues. Autistic self-advocate Julia Kate Mitchell and AIDE Canada's Chief Science Officer, Dr. Fakhri Shafai, provided insight to CBSA officers on typical challenges on the job and accommodations that make a difference.
